Signs You're Getting Old
When "Jurassic Park" (one of the greatest movies of all time) is on American Movie Classics.
Jesus, I remember when I hid a copy of the book in my 8th grade science textbook so my science (yeah, science) teacher wouldn't get mad I was reading it.
The definition of "classic" on AMC has changed dramatically in the past five years. AMC in the 90s only showed movies from the 30s-60s, with only the occasional 70s movie. AMC now regularly shows movies from the 90s. This doesn't show how old you are, merely that our cultural memory and attention span has shrunk.
